Philippe de Koning joined NTI in September 2011 as a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow in the Nuclear Materials Security Program. He previously researched Japanese security policy and East Asian regional security as a Fulbright Fellow at Hiroshima University. He has also served as a research assistant for Dr. Siegfried Hecker at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC), and at the Hoover Institution for Dr. Condoleezza Rice. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University with a BA in International Relations, with distinction and Honors in International Security Studies.
