Abstract:
According to a German BND report, Arab fundamentalist groups are attempting to obtain plutonium on the blackmarket. The report states that the radioactive material comes mainly from Russian research facilities and the North Sea Fleet. Reportedly, Russian military officers, former military personnel, and KGB official have been involved in smuggling nuclear materials.
