NTI’s Corey Hinderstein and Andrew Newman co-authored with Ole Reistad of the Norwegian Institute of Energy Technology an article in The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists calling for a change in the conversation on highly enriched uranium (HEU) from minimization to elimination.
Noting long-time bipartisan support for reducing nuclear threats, former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger and NTI consultant Steve Andreasen note that as the campaign season unfolds, "the public deserves a debate whose goal is not to score political points, but to focus solely on reducing nuclear threats to the American people."
