North Korea: Pyongyang Agrees to Indefinite Test Ban North Korea has agreed to extend its ballistic missile testing moratorium indefinitely, Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi said today (see GSN, Sept. 6). During the recent North Korean-Japanese summit in Pyongyang, North Korean leader Kim Jong Il agreed to continue the moratorium, Koizumi said during a news conference (Agence France-Presse/Yahoo.com, Sept. 17).
