Saint Kitts and Nevis Ratifies Test Ban Treaty

The Caribbean island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis has ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the treaty organization reported yesterday (see GSN, Feb. 7).

To date, 121 countries have ratified the treaty, including 33 of the 44 states needed to bring the pact into force (Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization release, May 3).
