Russia to Adopt U.N. Nuclear Terrorism Convention


Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a bill requiring his government to adopt the U.N. International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism, RosBusinessConsulting reported today (see GSN, April 13).

The convention would require member states to prosecute and extradite suspects in cases involving nuclear terrorism (RosBusinessConsulting, Aug. 8).
