India, Pakistan to Sign Missile Test Agreement

India and Pakistan are expected to sign an agreement next month on advance notification of ballistic missile tests, Reuters reported (see GSN, Aug. 23).

“I am affirming there is an agreement reached today and we will sign it when the foreign ministers meet in October,” Pakistani Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohammad Khan said after talks with his Indian counterpart on Thursday (Reuters, Sept. 1).
