Padilla Expected to Enter Plea Today

One-time “dirty bomb” suspect Jose Padilla is expected to enter a plea today on terrorism-related charges, the Associated Press reported (see GSN, Jan. 5). Padilla was transferred yesterday from military to civilian custody and a court in Miami is expected to determine whether he will be released on bail (Curt Anderson, Associated Press/Washington Post, Jan. 6).
