Russian officials plan to launch five satellites into space next month using a converted SS-18 intercontinental ballistic missile, Interfax reported Monday (see GSN, Oct. 30).  The Russian Defense Ministry plans to direct the Dec. 20 launch of the Dnepr rocket (Interfax, Nov. 25).
