US-China Cooperative Activities

This section surveys cooperative activities related to arms control and nonproliferation between the United States and China, including areas of dialogue, cooperation, and confidence-building.

US-China dialogue and activities related to arms control and nonproliferation consist of the following:
 

US-CHINA ACTIVITY

--Export control: cooperative exchanges and programs on licensing of nuclear materials, equipment, technology and related dual-use items

--International nuclear safeguards and physical protection: collaboration with the IAEA

--Radioactive source security: cooperative exchanges on reduction of radioactive security risks posed by sources and materials
