SHANGHAI INSTITUTE OF SPACE POWER EQUIPMENT Development and manufacture of power sources for launch vehicles, missiles, satellites and airborne and underwater weapons.  Has provided power supply equipment for 12 Chinese satellites and rocket missions.

 SHANGHAI INSTITUTE OF TRACKING, TELEMETRY AND COOMMAND TELECOMMUNICATION Research, development, testing and manufacture of electronic equipment for missiles, launch vehicles, satellites and other spacecraft.  It has developed pulse coherent responder test instruments, interferometer responders, very high resolution (VHR) cloud image transmitters and S-band cloud image receiving stations. Has approximately 420 employees.
