ACTIVITIES:
TsNIIAtominform (Atominform) was created in 1967 to facilitate the management of the research and production branches of the nuclear industry and to provide reliable technical and economic information to the industry.  The institute helped create the industry's automated control and information dissemination systems.  TsNIIAtominform cooperates with the IAEA and serves as the national center for the IAEA's International Nuclear Information System.  The institute also helps develop and manage industrial programs and, as of December 1997, was helping to develop the Federal Program to Create and Introduce a State System for MC&A and create an information system for MC&A.
