Here are some meaningful ways you can make a difference right now.
- Use your Voice Follow NTI wherever you are on social media—X, Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky—and share content and memes that resonate with you.
- Engage your Leaders Let your elected officials know that security, safety, health, and peace matter to you—and that you expect their priorities to reflect those values.
- Stay Connected Sign up for NTI’s updates. Understanding is the first step toward action.
- Have a Conversation
- Scroll through NTI’s Risky Business blog, find a piece that interests you, and share it with friends or discuss around a dinner table or in a classroom.
- Films like Oppenheimer and shows like The Diplomat and Fallout entertain, but they can also spark conversations. What feels relevant to today’s world? What scares you? What gives you hope?
- Invite others in by hosting a local event, a film screening, or a gathering to discuss a vision for a more secure future and the steps needed to get there.
- Write and Share Submit a letter to the editor or comment on a story in the news media. Speak from the heart. Your perspective might be the one that moves someone to act.
- Donate What You Can Every dollar goes toward work that puts humanity first—preventing harm before it happens.
