Description:
The Applied Research Center conducts R&D on steel alloy production, processing of non-ferrous metals, corrosion resistant technology, and metal casting. Although its technologies are for civilian applications, they may have the potential for producing maraging steel and corrosion resistant alloys to manufacture uranium enrichment centrifuges.
