Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center (NFRPC)

Location: Roshandasht, 15km SE of Isfahan (Esfahan)
Subordinate to: Isfahan (Esfahan)
Size: Pilot scale
Primary Function: Fuel fabrication

Description:

In 1974, the NFRPC was built to provide scientific and technical support to Iran's nuclear power program. The French company Technicatome helped Iran select the site for the plant. It is currently used to produce VVER fuel.
