5 July 1982  Israel/United States  unspecified chemical weapons  The Soviet Union accuses the United States if supplying Israel with what it
terms as "barbarous weapons."  According to a statement issued by
the Soviet government, these weapons include chemical weapons, which Israel then
used in its invasion of Lebanon. 
4 October 1992  Israel/The Netherlands  dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP)  A schedule 2B chemical that can be used to make sarin.  Israeli officials
claimed that the chemical was to be used for defensive purposes. 
1996  Israel/The Netherlands  soman gas  Reportedly sent 20 milligrams of soman gas to the Israel Institute of
Biological Research, a suspected chemical weapons site.  According to officials,
the gas is to be used for medical research. 
2003  Israel/United States  centrifugal pumps  The U.S. company, Sundstran is fined $171,500 for selling the pumps to Israel because these pumps could be used to make chemical and biological weapons.
