Description: In 1993, the IAEA completed a four-year technical assistance project with AECS to set up a non-destructive testing (NDT) laboratory at AECS and to provide equipment, advice, and training to AECS personnel in basic NDT techniques. The laboratory is being used for routine NDT training and provides NDT services to local industries and other agencies in Syria.[1]
