Description: The AECS and the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy signed an agreement, according to which Russia would provide Syria with a 25MW light water pool-type research reactor to be housed in a new nuclear research center that Russia's Atomstroieksport and Nikiet will construct in Syria.[1]
