Chemical Facilities

High Military Technical School

Location: Zagreb, Croatia

Subordinate to: Yugoslavian military

Size: Unknown

Primary Function: CW protection-related research

Description: The main activity of this facility was the training of officers in the Yugoslavian Army in particular technical skills that appear to have included CW knowledge. This facility was the source of published work on organophosphorous compounds and the reactivation of cholinesterases in the late 1960s. It is possible that this facility served as an open cover for scientists and engineering personnel engaged in the Yugoslavian CW program.
