Primary Function: Large research institute. Activities include but are not limited to research into protection against exposure to Soman (GD) and VX in late 1990s through 2002.
Description: The Laboratory of Biochemistry employs a number of persons engaged in CW relevant research who appear to have been previously involved in the protective CW program of Yugoslavia in the 1970s and 1980s. This institute also hosted Dr. Zlatko Binenfeld prior to his death in 1996. Other persons of significance are Dr. Elsa Reiner and Dr. Vera Simeon-Rudolf.
