Primary Function: Chemical weapons open-air field testing facility
Description: From the late 1970s through the late 1980s, a part of this facility was used by the Yugoslavian military for open-air testing of CW. Following the breakup of Yugoslavia, the facility passed into the hands of the Macedonian government. The facility has since been used as a training area for NATO forces under the Partnership for Peace program.
