Established in 1934, the University of Tehran is the oldest and largest university in Iran. It houses the Tehran Nuclear Research Center, at which scientists conducted numerous undeclared experiments including uranium conversion, plutonium separation and polonium production.[1] The University of Tehran offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate and PhD degrees relevant to a nuclear program, including nuclear physics, atomic and molecular physics, mathematics, physical chemistry, and metallurgy.[2]
