Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industries (IAMI) is a major defense contractor for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and among other projects develops the Ababil unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). [1] In September 2008, the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control added IAMI to its specially designated nationals and blocked persons list. [2]
