Imam Hussein University (IHU) is a public university in Tehran under the authority of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). The IRGC uses the university for personnel recruiting and training. [1] The IAEA suspects IHU to be involved in WMD and missile development, including the testing of nuclear warhead triggers and illicit procurement of sensitive materials. [2] According to information provided by the exiled dissident group The National Council of Resistance of Iran, the IHU is conducting research and development on missile warheads for biological and chemical weapons. [3] The IHU is located in close proximity to the missile plant of the Shahid Hemmat Industrial Group. The IHU is one of five Iranian universities offering advanced degrees in aerospace engineering.
