| Location: | Pyongyang (평양시) area, North Korea. Sources report that this facility is in "San'ŭm-ri (山陰里)," but "San'ŭm-ri" is not found on modern maps. One possibility is that "San'ŭm-ri" is a reference to an old name during the Japanese colonial period that no longer exists. There were two places called "San'ŭm-ri" in Yŏkp'o-kuyŏk and "Sun'an-kuyŏk" of present day Pyongyang. |

This facility reportedly has "northern" and "southern" sites, but it is unclear whether they are collocated or separate facilities. The northern site includes storage facilities both underground and above ground, storage tanks, and a plant for processing chemicals. The southern site has delivery vehicles for chemical agents, storage facilities both underground and above ground, storage tanks, and a vehicle maintenance facility.
