The Pakistan navy broke ground on the Jinnah Naval Base at Ormara in Baluchistan in 1994, and the base was inaugurated as Pakistan’s second naval base in 2000. [1] Subsequent expansion of the base has allowed it to take on increasing air defense responsibilities. [2]
