North Korea May Have Conducted Third Anti-Ship Missile Test
Japanese Defense Agency sources have said that North Korea may have conducted a third test Saturday of its modified Silkworm anti-ship cruise missile, Kyodo News reported yesterday (see GSN, Oct. 21; Kyodo News/JapanToday, Oct. 26).
The test did not threaten Japan, however, because the missile only has a range of 100 kilometers, Japanese officials said (Hun-joo Cho, Dong-A Ilbo, Oct. 26).
