Raytheon Announces $128 Million Patriot System Support Contract

Defense contractor Raytheon Co. announced this week that it has secured a $128 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide engineering support and other assistance for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System, Washington Technology reported (see GSN, Feb. 10).

Under the contract, Raytheon will provide systems analysis, software and hardware engineering and testing and logistics assistance.

In addition, the contract calls for Raytheon to work on Patriot systems in Germany, Greece, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates under the Foreign Military Sales program (David Hubler, Washington Technology, March 10).
