U.S., Russia to Hold Nuclear Arms Talks Today, Official Says
The United States and Russia are expected to open discussions today on replacing a key strategic arms limitation treaty set to lapse at the end of 2009, the Associated Press reported (see GSN, Nov. 10).
Discussions on replacing the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty are expected to continue through Nov. 21 at the U.S. and Russian embassies in Geneva, a U.S. official said (Bradley Klapper, Associated Press/Google News, Nov. 12).
