ne of the primary reasons that terrorists might choose the radiological option is not to cause immense physical or human loss, but to create widespread panic and psychological fear. By completing this tutorial and further educating yourself about the radiological terrorism threat, you have already helped to reduce this threat. You, in turn, can help to educate your friends and family, and encourage them to learn what to expect and how to react should a radiological attack occur. By becoming an educated public, we can help to prevent this fear and thus decrease the vulnerability of our societies to the effects of a radiological terrorist attack.
