Tuvalu first submitted a report to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1540 Committee on March 13, 2007.

As indicated in Tuvalu's 2007-dated 1540 report, Tuvalu declared that it would welcome any technical assistance that could help it to fully implement the requirements of UNSCR 1540.
