Kazakhstan: Research Reactors

This section of the NIS Profiles database provides descriptions of Kazakhstan's research reactors (see also Kazakhstan:  Research Reactors Table).  The country's three operational reactors are subordinate to the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  A fourth research reactor was dismantled and returned to Russia in 1998.
