Annmarie Le was an intern with NTI’s FutureSafe team. In this role, she supported the team’s work in addressing the impact of AI and other emerging technologies on nuclear security.

Annmarie recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in Political Science. At UC Berkeley, she was a research apprentice at the Berkeley Risk and Security Lab where she worked on a nuclear nonproliferation portfolio. She is most passionate about the intersection of emerging technology and nuclear systems, specifically the psychological implications of the AI and nuclear nexus. She was also a researcher for the Berkeley Nuclear Policy Working Group, where she examined the political and technical aspects of shifting war dynamics surrounding nuclear power plants.
