Global Nuclear Policy Program (GNPP)

Martina Queijo is an intern with NTI’s Global Nuclear Policy Program. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics at the College of William & Mary. This past year, she was a member of the Global Research Institute’s Global Scholars Program, conducting research and examining issues related to global policy and international organizations in Washington, D.C., Paris, and Brussels.

In 2025, Queijo interned at the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting efforts to uphold the Treaty of Tlatelolco in Mexico City. She also has conducted archival research relating to the negotiations between Argentina and the United States regarding the Treaty of Tlatelolco, seeking to better contextualize modern-day motivations for nuclear non-proliferation. Queijo is passionate about enhancing the role of nuclear-weapon-free zones at the intersection of non-proliferation and emerging technology.
