Iran Boasts of Improved Missile Accuracy
An Iranian naval official has asserted that his nation's missiles can now hit their targets with almost complete reliability, United Press International reported yesterday (see GSN, Sept. 28).
"Iran's modern technologies have increased the precision of the equipment to near 100 percent," Rear Adm. Ali Fadavi said, adding that Iran's defense capabilities are comparable to those of much larger nations.
Iran this year added new long-range missiles to its arsenal (see GSN, Sept. 22; United Press International, Oct. 28).
