Carla Montilla served as Communications Intern for NTI. In this role, she assisted the communications team in amplifying the organization’s message, as well as created and edited content for NTI’s social media platforms, blog, and website.
Carla is a graduate student at American University’s School of International Service, focusing on constitutional democracy, narrative, and state-building. She holds degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In the United States, Indigenous communities have been extensively harmed by the development, production, testing, clean-up, and waste storage of nuclear materials.
