Global Nuclear Policy Program (GNPP)

Bio

Marko Gural is an intern with the Global Nuclear Policy Program team. In this role, he supports the team’s efforts to reduce global nuclear risks with systemic solutions, focusing on nuclear non-proliferation, global nuclear order, and Euro-Atlantic security.

Gural is a junior at the University of Notre Dame studying political science and history and minoring in European studies. Gural is an undergraduate fellow at the Notre Dame International Security Center. He is also a content editor and contributing writer at the Notre Dame Journal of Political Science, where he spends time on international relations pieces. Gural’s interest in nuclear policy stems from recent nuclear deterrence literature and a national security policymaking course that he took last fall. He hails from New York City and hopes to continue his education and research in political science in graduate school.

In his spare time, Gural enjoys playing tennis, reading international relations theory, and traveling our world.
