With over 35 years in the film and television industry Tory Metzger began her agenting career at UTA before she became a leading agent at Creative Artists Agency. During her sixteen-year tenure at CAA, she represented Academy Award winning writers, directors, producers and actors. She then transitioned to running production companies like MRC’s film division. After leaving MRC, Metzger partnered with David Linde as a founding partner at LAVA BEAR where she developed original materials and oversaw the development of projects and production of film.

Subsequently, Metzger joined Levantine Films. At Lava Bear and at Levantine, Metzger focused on developing and producing content for worldwide audiences. Her approach to creating materials and supporting strong content creators integrates strategic vision with a passion for storytelling. Metzger believes films must entertain, but she knows strong well-conceived and well directed films should evoke emotion in audiences while transporting them through the story being told.

She is committed to producing and helping to promote excellent content in the ever-evolving landscape of film and television production.

During her career, Metzger has supported the making and distribution of films like BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, ADAPTATION, JERRY MAGUIRE, THE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE film series, ALMOST FAMOUS, CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON, BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, TED, ARRIVAL and BLINDED BY THE LIGHT to name a few.
