Veronica J. Castro currently works at The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) as an Administrative Operations Assistant and provides office management support.
Previously, Castro worked as a medical administrative supervisor for SkinDC where she managed the general dermatology office administrative team. In her spare time, Castro offers freelance content production and is presently working as a contracted content manager for eSTYLAR, an e-commerce platform, and its partner OhYeah, a fashion aggregator.
From 2016 to 2020, while receiving a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish from American University, Castro worked as a staff assistant for the university’s School of Communication (SOC) Dean’s Office where she supported the Dean’s Assistant in managing office projects and events. She has also interned with Washington, D.C.’s Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs as a communications intern assisting with the creation and development of several bilingual social media campaigns.
