The world’s first Pandemic Agreement, adopted by the World Health Assembly in May, is a historic step toward building resilient systems to prevent, detect, and respond to epidemic and pandemic threats and save millions of lives. At the same time, many countries—particularly low- and middle-income nations—face significant political and technical hurdles in ratifying and implementing the agreement. This webinar will explore practical strategies and opportunities for nations to close critical data and preparedness gaps, including by using tools such as the Global Health Security Index and the Africa Health Security Index to guide efforts to build stronger global health security and a world safer from future biological threats.
