Navy Officer unlawfully killed by subordinate

Navy officer was shot and killed by an enlisted subordinate on board a nuclear submarine he was stationed on. The subordinate had a violent past and a history of alcohol abuse and he was coming off two-days of drinking before the incident. The subordinate was given a life sentence with a minimum term serving 25 years, and the drinking regulations for Navy officers were tightened.
