The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) will host a breakfast panel discussion during the Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference on Tuesday, March 24. NTI Co-Chairman and CEO Sam Nunn, Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), National Security Council Senior Director for WMD Terrorism and Threat Reduction Laura Holgate, and former Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman will discuss a range of nuclear security issues, the implications of our changing relationship with Russia, and the evolving nuclear terrorism threat. Lori Esposito Murray, NTI Vice President, Nuclear Security Project, will moderate.

Moniz, Executive Director of CATF Armond Cohen, and experts from NTI, EFI Foundation, and CATF briefed Managing Director and CEO of ENEC His Excellency Mohamed Al Hammadi and ENEC staff on their work promoting the responsible, sustainable, and effective expansion of nuclear energy.
