Nuclear Security: Evolving Challenges, Emerging Threats

The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) will host a breakfast panel discussion during the Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference on Tuesday, March 24. NTI Co-Chairman and CEO Sam Nunn, Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), National Security Council Senior Director for WMD Terrorism and Threat Reduction Laura Holgate, and former Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman will discuss a range of nuclear security issues, the implications of our changing relationship with Russia, and the evolving nuclear terrorism threat. Lori Esposito Murray, NTI Vice President, Nuclear Security Project, will moderate.

The panel begins at 7:45 a.m., and will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, International Gateway Room, Mezzanine Level, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20004. RSVP here.
