Deepika Choudhary joined the Nuclear Threat Initiative in May of 2020 and serves as a director on the Communications team. She is responsible for providing dedicated communications support and strategy to three of NTI’s program teams— Global Nuclear Policy, Materials Risk Management, and Science and Technical Affairs— while leading one of the organization’s public education campaigns.

Lord Browne is a Member of the House of Lords in the United Kingdom and a former British Secretary of State for Defense. He is also the Chair of the Board of Trustees and Directors of the European Leadership Network.

As executive vice president, Deborah Rosenblum was part of NTI’s executive leadership team and helps oversee the organization’s operations, development and programs with an annual operating budget of $15-20 million. At NTI Rosenblum led the successful development of Connecting Organizations for Regional Disease Surveillance (CORDS) as an independent, self-sustaining global network of regional disease surveillance groups. Additionally, she leads NTI’s work on all security issues related to China, and leads NTI’s Middle Eastern partnerships.

Charles B. Curtis was founding president and COO of NTI. He has served as under secretary, deputy secretary and acting secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy. He was executive vice president and COO of the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and was a partner in Hogan & Hartson, a Washington-based law firm.

Amy Cole joined NTI in 2012 and comes to NTI with significant expertise in grant and program management.

Andrew Newman joined NTI in 2011. Previously, Newman was a research associate with Harvard University's Project on Managing the Atom.

Alexey Arbatov, head of the Center for International Security at the Primakov National Research Institute for World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences and senior fellow at the Center for Strategic Research, is one of Russia's most important intellectual leaders in the fields of international relations and international security.

Professor Sen, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economics, is a world-renowned economist, scholar, philosopher and author.

Beth Cameron was formerly NTI’s vice president for global biological policy and programs. Cameron previously served as the senior director for global health security and biodefense on the White House National Security Council (NSC) staff, where she was instrumental in developing and launching the Global Health Security Agenda and addressed homeland and national security threats surrounding biosecurity and biosafety, biodefense, emerging infectious disease threats, biological select agents and toxins, dual‐use research, and bioterrorism.
