Siri Beck-Friis was an intern with the Global Nuclear Policy Program (GNPP), supporting NTI’s efforts to reduce the role and number of nuclear weapons and mitigate the risks of their use.

Before joining NTI, Siri worked in human rights litigation and criminal defense at a legal aid firm in London, where she assisted with legal actions against public authorities for human rights violations.

Siri holds a law degree from the University of Cambridge and recently obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School with a focus on public international law, international security, and human rights. At Harvard, Siri served as Project Leader for HLS Advocates for Human Rights, articles editor for Harvard Human Rights Journal, and student attorney for Harvard’s International Human Rights Clinic. In these roles, she contributed to projects on corporate accountability, war crimes, and nuclear disarmament.
