New Database Documents All North Korean Missile Tests

A new database released today by the James Martin
Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) on NTI’s website documents all of
North Korea’s missile test launches since the country’s first test in 1984.
This first of its kind database is accompanied by an interactive map that displays the tests by location, missile type and family, and results over a period of
time.

In his analysis of the data, CNS research associate
Shea Cotton, explains that trends and patterns in North Korea’s missile testing
behavior since 2014 indicate the regime’s possible intention of deploying
nuclear weapons to missile units throughout the country.
