NTI | bio Senior Program Officer and co-lead of the Global Health Security (GHS) Index Jessica Bell joined Latin American infectious disease and health policy experts at the Initiative for Global Security and the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia for a discussion about using the GHS Index as a decision-making tool for Latin American audiences.
The May 12th webinar, which was broadcast live in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, aimed to inform Latin American decision makers about the GHS Index and the depth of research and international collaboration behind it. The Index, first released in 2019, is a powerful tool that can be used by countries around the world to inform planning and decision making on global health security priorities. The second edition of the GHS Index will be released later this year.
The webinar can be viewed here and it features Dr. Ricard Teijeiro from the Argentine Society of Infectology, Dr. Ernesto Gozzer from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano, Heredia, and Mr. Luis Carrera Fox from Mexico’s AmexBio/PandemicTech in addition to Bell.
