Raytheon Receives $17M for South Korean Patriot Upgrades
Raytheon Co. has received a $17 million contract modification to upgrade the communication capabilities of South Korea's Patriot Air and Missile Defense System, the U.S. defense contractor said yesterday (see GSN, Sept. 17).
The upgrades are expected to provide the defenses with an alternate power source and improve their ability to interface with air-defense control centers (Raytheon Co. release, Dec. 1).
