Ellen Leonard serves as a strategic communications consultant to the Critical Mass project at NTI. In this role, she supports project planning and execution for political will-building activities including narrative change work, cultural engagement, and campaigns.

Ellen joined NTI in 2024. Prior to this, she held a consulting role with the Union of Concerned Scientists managing content development for a nuclear impacts project. She also held roles at Global Zero and Beyond the Bomb where she drove strategic outreach and advocacy campaigns, managed an internship program to bring young, diverse voices to the field, and led public education initiatives. She is passionate about making work to eliminate nuclear weapons an accessible and ascendent issue.

She has a B.A. in Political Science and Italian Studies from the University of New Hampshire and certificates in project management and planning.
