Emma Nix is a recent graduate of Boston University with degrees in Biology and International Relations. As a biology student, she began her college career focusing on genetics and biochemistry research but gravitated towards international affairs to gain a broader understanding of the relationship between science and policy. Emma recently completed an Honors thesis on the threat of biological weapons in Europe, forging her interest in biosecurity and biodefense. Outside of academics, Emma’s favorite pastime activities include swimming, reading, and spending time outdoors. Most importantly, she is an avid ice cream connoisseur and is always on the hunt for unique dessert spots!
