Social Media Officer

Communications

Grace Wankelman serves as the social media officer for NTI. In this role, she is responsible for NTI’s official social media content and strategy across a wide array of social platforms. She is focused on supporting NTI’s brand with both core and new audiences through targeted messaging and creative engagement.

Before joining NTI, Wankelman was the social media manager for Brady: United Against Gun Violence, where she managed their channels, influencer relationships, and social strategy. She also worked as the digital associate for Cogent Strategies, and on grassroots digital campaigns advocating for the prevention of gender-based violence and promotion of women’s rights.

Wankelman graduated with distinction from the University of Denver (DU), where she earned her B.A. in International Studies and Political Science and minored in Economics. While at DU, Wankelman studied abroad in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, and Germany researching armed conflict, post-conflict development, and human rights.
